Charles Parsons & Co wish to announce some changes in the operation of their stable of bedlinen brands. Gainsborough and Partex will be transferred to Charles Parsons trading company, KS Textiles. Both brands will continue to operate as part of the Charles Parsons Group on an indent only basis. Charles Parsons NZ will continue to distribute Private Collection and Gainsborough in New Zealand.
“Considerable investment has been made into the design and positioning of our bedlinen brands over the last year and we believe the transfer of Gainsborough and Partex to KS Textiles will ensure a profitable and sustainable future for both the brands,” said Mark Bilton, Group Managing Director.
The Charles Parsons Group will retain the Private Collection brand in its portfolio. The Private Collection Summer 2008/09 collection will be the last collection sold to the Australian market for the forseeable future.
The Charles Parsons Group is a privately owned fabrics house supplying customers throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. Established in 1915, Charles Parsons is a supplier of fabric and components for garments, furnishings, commercial and industrail use.
